Raymond, Grade 27, 17J, 18S, 14K gold HC recase with beautiful engraving detail, scalloped band, gold cuvette with 1890 presentation, fancy white enamel SS dial with perimeter having attractive geometric line detail in blue and salmon color, gold foil decorations, minute markers in gold and silver foil, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#7019389. Gross weight of assembled watch 93.4 dwt (145.3 g). An excellent gold case with very impressive in hand presence.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scattered fine and micro-fine scratches to plates, mild oxide to steelwork; virtually flawless dial with only some very light and sparing edge rub under bezel; excellent hands; case front lift spring is not making contact with lid through final portion of opening range which allows lid to tip about one-third of the way towards closed with gravity, case shows hardly any wear, small subtle ding to unadorned shield at lower front perimeter, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
